The Lead Developer/Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing and implementing reports, dashboards and applications to support the business needs of LPC Healthcare's, valued client. Looking for a strong leader with previous management or consulting experience, leading a team of developers to facilitate ongoing project needs. Ideal candidate will have experience with IOS, Android and .NET, able to bring internal platform to mobile.
This position will also serve as the application super user, working with other internal teams to design and develop configuration, functionality, and data repositories, and reports as needed in stand-alone and/or client-server environments.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.Work with business users and other assigned associates to gather and document business requirements, analyze, design, develop and implement user friendly solutions (e.g., processes, reports, applications, etc.) for existing or new applications.
2.In all development work, follow the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
3.Work closely with the appropriate IS/IT teams to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and technical best practices.
4.Provide day-to-day support for issues that affect the daily operation of assigned applications and their interfaces; resolve such issues in a timely manner.
5.Develop or participate in projects to address deficiencies in current processes and create functionality to improve the current processes.
6.Communicate work and project status as required.
7.Attend training as needed.
8.Actively participate in cross training to develop a better understanding of the business, industry, databases and systems.
9.Develop document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ISO documentation for all tasks directly related to this position.
Software Systems:
Web development: oDesign, development and rapid prototyping of new applications. oIn-depth knowledge of GUI prototyping tools, software design, Web development technologies, and protocols, including: ?iPad/iOS Web App Development ?HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (use of tools like RequireJS, Backbone, Angular, JQuery, etc.) ?Jquery Mobile, KendoUI or other mobile javascript framework ?PhoneGap/Cordova, Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, XCode oDatabase skills (e.g., SQL server, SQL queries, NoSQL, data access optimization, database objects creation and optimization, TSQL skills, data modeling on logical and physical levels, knowledge of ERD software, Visio, ER Studio, data warehousing). o.Net 3.5/4.0 applications (e.g., Windows based apps, ASP.NET). oXML oIIS and WebLogic configuration/support oVisual Studio oTeam Foundation Server (TFS), Git oWCF/Web Services experience oSQL administration/support oWindows command prompt scripting oVirtualization Technologies oMachine Analytics oMobile application development with Android and/or Windows 8 apps oIterative and agile development methods
Requirements:
Solid work ethics and ability to use experience, judgment and skills to work effectively as both a member of a team and independently.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
5-10 years of experience.
Experience in developing and implementing major projects.
