Job Overview:
The Human Resources Coordinator partners with the Site Human Resources Generalists and Human Resources Manager to deliver timely, superior quality support and service to our customers within the business unit. Under close supervision, this is an entry-level position within the Human Resources Generalist family.
Job Responsibility:
Execute, with accuracy, all data entry for new hires, promotions, transfers, terminations, etc. in the Workday system
Conduct new hire orientation (educate new hires on the Plexus and Benefit overview PowerPoint)
Coordinate recruiting activities under the direction of the Site Human Resources Manager to include creating and posting requisitions as needed for internal and external open positions and schedule interviews
Serve as primary contact and resource for employees and managers to address standard HR issues, questions and concerns, while ensuring good working relationships and building trust and credibility with employees and managers throughout the site.
Improve manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; assisting in the interpretation of policies and procedures, evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solutions
Partner with payroll for time and labor issues within the site
Generate reports and analyze data regarding HR Metrics (turnover, headcount, talent acquisition, etc)
Responsible for coordinating all onsite Recognition Programs
Assist with conducting exit interviews and assist with performance management
Provide ideas on new ways to improve personal efficiency and efficiency of the site Human Resources team
Provide support for leadership and developmental skills training to front line supervisors and managers
Plan company events and outings
Generate the performance appraisal kick-off for all employees and assist in maintaining hourly performance review data
Additional duties as assigned by management
Skills & Abilities
Advanced computer skills (Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint; experience with Workday a plus)
Good decision making and problem solving skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
Candidate must be able to interact with employees on all levels

Education & Experience
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred for this position
Experience of 2 plus years is required for this position

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
