POSITION
Summary:
Under general direction of the Operations Manager or other supervisory/management-level position within the facility, the Production Assembler is responsible for using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test automated medication dispensing equipment.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Follows detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
Operates hand tools to build equipment, uses floor lifts to position assemblies and sub-assemblies during production.
Uses computer programs to execute quality tests on work in process and completed assemblies.
Reports all problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to production supervisor.
Provides hands on job training to coworkers as needed.
Completes all necessary production and quality documentation.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires high school degree or general education degree (GED). Ability to read and comprehend procedures and work instructions written in English.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work independently
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
