Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and soups - Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions they may have - Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including cleaning equipment and utensils - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety of customers and coworkers - Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product expiration dates - Upsell additional items or promotions to customers to increase sales Skills:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals - Culinary knowledge or experience in food preparation is a plus - Strong sales skills to effectively promote additional items or specials - Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment - Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is preferred - Excellent communication and customer service skills Note:
